GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. The annual Tommy Lewis Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on June 8th at the Blair Park Golf Course. The cost is $40 (checks payable to Byron Hinson). The group will meet for lunch at 11am with a tee-time of 12:40. Please register by June 2nd to secure your spot in the golf tournament.
The Next 56 days is an 8-week course. The current session began on June 9th and will end in August. This class is taught by Bob Hall with weekly meeting times from 4:30 until 5:30pm. If you are looking to know more, come out on June 9th for the first class, which includes a free overview session of the new approach to eating and living that will assist with balancing blood sugars, detox, releasing fat, reducing inflammation, and overall feeling better and healthier! This first session will begin with an assessment starting at 4:00pm with the introduction beginning at 4:30pm. Weekly assessments will be at 4:00pm with class running from 4:30pm until 5:30pm.
On June 14th, we will be having a youth/family outing to the High Point Rockers baseball game! The cost of admission will be $13/person. This is an event for the whole family!! The game is at 7pm, but we will meet at the church at 6pm to carpool and ride together. Bring money for food at the game! If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Jon.
This summer, kids ages 3 thru completed 5th grade are invited to our SUMMER BLAST! This summer, our theme is MOVE. We will be talking about Jesus’ life and walking through a few very important events in Jesus’ life. This will be a summer event you DO NOT want to miss. If you are interested in more information or in volunteering for this event, please contact Pastor Elizabeth.
The event will take place June 20-22 nightly from 6pm until 8:30.
On July 7th, Hayworth Wesleyan Church will have a church-wide celebration in honor of the 95th year of its existence. We will not have Sunday School on July 7th, but the worship service will begin at 10:30. Mercy’s Well will be joining us that morning and Rev. Jerry Lumston will be speaking. This will be a wonderful time for the entire church family to gather together and celebrate. We will have a fellowship meal together following the morning worship service.

All ladies are invited to attend RENEW, an overnight retreat May 17-18. The total cost is $120. There are only a few spots left, so turn in your $20 registration fee as soon as possible to secure your spot! If you are interested in learning more about this event, contact the church office.
On Easter Sunday, we will have a Sunrise service at 7am, followed by breakfast together. Join us for this special service as we celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection together as a church family.
Sunday School will be at 9:45 and the Easter Worship Service will be at 10:45.
We will have the Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, April 20th from 10am until 12pm. This is an event for kids of all ages. There will be 3 egg hunts spread throughout the event in order to provide age appropriate egg hunts for kids! We will have popcorn/snacks, drinks, games, and an inflatable! Be sure to come out and join us for this fun-filled day!
