Hayworth Kids
Children's ministry can be messy, crazy, silly, thought-provoking, and challenging. Kids are creative and love to ask questions. They love to run and be active, and the crazier the game, the better. At Hayworth Wesleyan Church, we strive to create an environment for kids to encounter Jesus at a personal level in a safe and creative environment. Throughout the week, there are a variety of activities just for kids where they can learn about the Bible, start and deepen their relationships with Jesus, and build friendships with one another.
SUNDAY mornings provide space for the entire family to come and worship. We believe it is important for kids to have their own time to connect with God. Kids’ Life Groups meet at 9:30am. Life Groups allow for a small group format (nursery, preschool, lower elementary, upper elementary). During the 10:30am worship service, the kids have a special time of worship. All kids’ classrooms are located on the hallway connected to the main lobby. When you enter the building, kids will be checked in at the desk and receive a name tag. After service, come back to the check in desk to pick up your child!
WEDNESDAY evenings, Hayworth Kids meet from 6:45 to 8pm for Dig In. Dig In is a Bible study program where the kids get to dig deeper into the Biblical story. The kids start out together in the large group room where they are introduced to the Bible story and lesson for the night. Kids then separate into age small groups (preschool, K-2, 3-5) where they dig deeper into the story, based on their age level. The kids work on a monthly Bible verse, learn truths from the Bible, and build relationships with one another!
A nursery is also available on Wednesday evenings for families who are attending adult LifeGroups and/or serving with kids and teens.
