The Great Shepherd

Psalm 23 is one of the most well known passages in the Bible. On July 12th, Pastor Brian began a new series called “The Great Shepherd” and took a close look at Psalm 23:1.

On July 19th, Pastor Brian preached Part 2 in “The Great Shepherd” series in a sermon titled “What’s Robbing Your Rest?” This sermon focuses in on Psalm 23:2-3.

On August 9, Pastor Brian preached part 3 in “The Great Shepherd” series out of Psalm 23:4.

Pastor Brian concluded “The Great Shepherd” series on August 16th. The sermon, “Come to the Table” was rooted in Psalm 23:5-6 and ended with a time of communion.

Christ or Culture

Dr. Terry Moffitt, the head of school for Hayworth Christian School, preached on August 2nd on the topic of “Christ or Culture.” In a world filled with so much chaos…which do you choose?

On July 26th, Pastor Elizabeth preached out of Matthew 14:13-21 and the story of Jesus Feeding the 5000. Jesus is inviting us to participate in what he is doing in the world…will you accept the invitation?

Revolutionary but not Rebellious

On July 5th, Pastor Brian preached out of Matthew 17 and Romans 13 and talked about how Jesus was revolutionary, but not rebellious. In the same way, we are called to be revolutionary, but not rebellious.

On June 28th, Pastor Brian preached out of Luke 5:1-11. The title for his sermon was “Because You Say So.”

Father's Day Service

On June 21st (Father’s Day), Pastor Brian preached out of Luke 11:5-13 and focused on the importance of God has our heavenly Father.

David's Description of Sin

Pastor David Emery preached on June 14th out of Psalm 51, a Psalm written by King David. In Psalm 51, David talks a great deal about sin and its impact on our lives.

When We All

Luke 10 contains one of the most well known of Jesus’ parables…the parable of the Good Samaritan. On June 7th, Pastor Brian preached out of Luke 10:25-29, which is the introduction to powerful parable. In a world filled with racism, division, and discord, these verses remind us that Jesus came for each of us. We are ALL made in the image and likeness of our Creator.

Upon All People

On Pentecost Sunday, May 31st, Pastor Brian preached a sermon titled “Upon All People” out of Acts 2 about the Holy Spirit.

Faith Promise

On May 24th, we heard from 5 of our missionaries serving around the world. It was a wonderful day to gather and celebrate what God is doing in different places worldwide.
